Reunion L(I)

(EJHS Class of ‘70) August 7, 2021

For us, it has been fifty years
(Really a CO-VID fifty-one)
Since our high school graduation cheers
And our adult lives were begun.

Some of us still remained close by
And others roamed quite far away.
A few who gave elsewhere a try
Then came back here again to stay.

We’re not all here to reunite --
Others are in our memories.
Let’s chat with all those here tonight
And greet those not in reveries.
