Oh, my, oh, my, what a holiday!
Let’s all have a cheeseburger today!
Hooray for Lionel Steinberger
Who rescued a burnt hamburger
Under a novel blanket of cheese
Which now has a whole nation to please.

If veggie is your kind of patty,
Or another meat not quite so fatty,
You can still put the cheese on the top
With condiments until you yell stop.
Swiss, Cheddar, or whatever to choose -
There is no way you could ever lose.
