GREEN

GREEN
(in block poetry form)

G rowing forth from the soil springs,
allant vanguards the weather brings,
reeting the return of dormant things.
R ejoice, my heart, at the first sight,
ising blades to catch the light,
eleased from hold by winter tight.
E levate from seed-bound crouch,
very part stretches beyond a slouch,
mptying out the reserved pouch.
E longate as days grow brighter!
nergize, little chlorophylled fighter!
nthuse again this reawakened writer!
N ewly tinted forests and fields
urture my rebirth from protected shields,
ow invoking the power biology wields.
