What the Groundhog Said Today

I don’t like snow and I don’t like ice –
Reschedule when the weather is nice.
Maybe April, maybe May
Makes a better holiday.
Now just go away is my advice.

Half Resolved

Making resolutions on New Year’s Day
Can simply set you up to go astray.
But maybe if you can do at least half
You could mark some progress on your graph.
So each day I will awake with a smile
And go outside to walk about a mile.
Already I almost have down the first part –
Perhaps that may be a good enough start.
